On 20 April, a Seder was held in Wardroom Three on the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).  The Commanding Officer of the ship, CAPT Herman Shelanski extended an invitation to officers throughout the ship and nearly 90 were in attendance.  The Seder was conducted by CAPT Irving Elson, CHC (Chaplains Corps) USN, a Jewish Chaplain who traveled from his home station in San Diego .  Rabbi Elson currently serves as the Force Chaplain to Commander, Naval Air Forces.

On the morning of 21 April, Rabbi Elson led a Passover service in the Ship's chapel.
