 Alan
Goldberg serves as vice-president of the Jewish Community
Centers Association’s Mandel Center for Excellence in
Leadership and Management. The purpose of the Mandel Center
for Excellence is to enhance each JCCs skill set in business
management, financial resource development, marketing and
membership and to provide JCC leadership with the most appropriate
tools to create successful JCCs.
Prior to joining
JCC Association in 2002, Goldberg served for five years as
associate executive director at the Jewish Community Center
of Cleveland and for the previous 13 years as executive director
of the JCC in Youngstown Ohio.
Goldberg holds
a master of social work degree from the University of Maryland.
He was a participant in JCC Association’s Mandel Executive
Education program from 1995 – 1997.
