It is time to register for the 2013 JCC Association Board and Leadership Retreat in Newport Beach, California from January 24 to 27, 2013. Linda Russin, chair of the retreat, promises a unique and exciting experience. As an enhancement to the usual opportunities for learning, planning, sharing and socializing, we are engaging a facilitator who will lead us in an exploration of our role as a governance board on the national level. We expect this to be a crucial component to our service to JCC Association and an experience not to be missed.
Rabbi Daniel Greyber will be joining us as our scholar in residence and he comes to us with rave reviews. His leadership promises to be stimulating and provocative.
In addition to our plenaries, committee meetings and Shabbat celebration, the leadership of the Merage JCC of Orange County will be hosting a dinner and reception for us at their facility. We are also planning an evening dinner cruise around Catalina Island after Shabbat.
