Examples include formal Jewish education, attendance or work at other Jewish camps, youth groups, retreats, Hillel, service-learning experiences, trips to Israel or Jewish communities abroad. Please note that this is for intake purposes only; one does not need a Jewish educational background to be a candidate for the fellowship.

1. Among other things in your role as a camp director, you work with a board, recruit campers and staff, oversee the health safety of campers and inspire the camp community. What role do you play in the Jewish educational experiences that take place at your camp?

2. Were you able to add or change two or three elements of your camp to improve the camp as a Jewish institution, what would they be and why would you choose them over others?

3. Please describe an experience or time in your current position when you faced a dilemma. How was it resolved?

4. Which values or ethics (explicitly Jewish or not) are most important to you? How have they evidenced themselves at your camp?

- If selected as a Lekhu Lakhem Fellow, I understand that my camp or sponsoring JCC (if applicable) will contribute $1,500 towards the cost of the Fellowship, payable to FJC, during the course of the 24-month program. This money can be paid in installments over the course of the program. In the circumstance that my camp is unable to pay, FJC will attempt to work out a financial arrangement.
