About Israel & Your JCC

An an agency dedicated to the continued vitality of the Jewish community, part of our mission is to facilitate the development of bonds of attachment between North American Jews and the Jewish State. The Israeli summer shlichim we interview, train, and place make lifelong impressions on JCC campers, which lead to a sense of personal connection with Israel and Israelis.  JCC executives, staff, leaders, and members benefit from seminars prepared by our Israel office. Israeli teens bond with their American peers at the JCC Maccabi Games and JCC Maccabi ArtsFest–and this coming summer, the voyage will go in the other direction, when one thousand American teens go to the first-ever Games/ArtsFest in Israel. American and Israeli communities and JCCs forge relationships through Partnership 2000. In numerous ways, we serve as a bridge that connects your JCC and its membership to Israel.
