2008 MMTP

Professional Development Services is pleased to announce our next class of Middle Management Training Program (MMTP). The first meeting of MMTP 2 will be September 21 – 25, 2008. MMTP includes three weeks of seminars, as well as a final trip to Israel. MMTP is designed to train advanced management skills to JCC middle managers (department heads, program directors and assistant executive directors). Some of the goals for MMTP are:

• Empower participants to develop and hold leadership roles in a multi-faceted cutting edge JCC.
• Help expand participants’ leadership skills.
• Equip participants with the knowledge to move forward in their JCC careers.
• Teach concepts of leadership.
• Prepare participants for work with lay leaders and executives.
• Teach participants about supervising diverse staff.
• Help participants expand understanding of working with budgets & finances.
• Teach participants about community-wide programming and inter-agency collaboration.
• Provide participants with professional leadership consultations.
• Develop a continental support network.
• Provide participants with programmatic support and information.
• Provide participants with mentoring from AEDs in the field.
