How to Get the Most Out of Your Audit
We all have an audit every year. This session will discuss how the audit process can help with your internal controls, communicating with your board and meeting the requirements of new legislation that is being passed, e.g. Sarbanes Oxley. Matt Hemelt, a partner in McGladrey & Pullen will be our presenter.

Institute #5
Crisis Management
When a crisis strikes your JCC, the situation must be approached in a manner that will not only effectively handle the crisis at hand, but will also help to preserve future business. For a potential customer, his or her impressions of your JCC and its management will be altered by your agency's reactions in a crisis situation. How you respond will have a significant effect on your members. More often than not the impact of a traumatic event is either magnified or softened by the action of the responding management team. Ken Vondriska, in charge of Loss Control for Sterling and Sterling , will help prepare you for a crisis and help you prepare an emergency action plan.
